New Delhi: After the launching the commercial version of Aakash tablets, Datawind has tossed in multiple language support for the UbiSlate tablets. The tablet-maker has joined hands with Reverie Language Technologies Pvt. Ltd to enable multi-language support in the tablets.
Apart from offering all the major regional Indian languages, Datawind now offers support for other global languages as well.
The CEO of Datawind, Suneet Singh Tuli, stated that they were happy with their strategic partnership working out with Reverie to attain quality language solutions. The collaboration is likely to ensure an OS level of integration, which shall account for an overall user experience in the user-specific language.
The text-proffering technology has made UbiSlate capable enough to exhibit all languages with complex scripts and keypads for the supported languages.
As of now, Datawind has unveiled two Aakash tablets in a low-priced segment of Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000.
